Every year, the Tait Farm Greenhouse staff takes great pleasure in assisting gardeners throughout the Centre region. For many, it means starting plants from seed. Growing from seed is economical; there are simply some veggies that need to be direct sown; and growing from seed allows for a wide range of choices, although we also have an extremely diverse list of greenhouse seedlings the arrive in the spring!

Perhaps the greatest reason to plant from seed is that watching those first shoots emerge from the soil brings sheer joy to the grower! Every year, we assisted many first-time gardeners in choosing seeds and planning gardens, in particular families who are looking for practical fun while educating their children at home. That being said, we welcome gardeners of all ages!
